Where to start? I always found writing the first sentence of anything the toughest part. I guess I should start by telling you why I’m starting a blog and a bit of the focus.
So, the first question is easy. I’m doing it because you asked me to. As a coach and mentor to a diverse swimming population I have been encouraged to write down many of the concepts I teach, specifically somewhere they can be found when you are looking for them.
As for my focus, all things swimming are fair game. While my primary focus will be mechanics and training tips, I make no promises that I won’t diverge from time-to-time. As always, your feedback is welcome and I will try to answer the questions you submit to the site.
Don’t forget to check out the Training Center (now open) and Coaching Center (coming soon). The Training Center contains free workouts. There are 9 new daily workouts with options from 2000 – 4000 yards and multiple specialty options available. The Coaching Center will continue to grow and offer training videos on stroke mechanics with corrections and tools to improve.
